The Difference Between Floor Vases and Table Vases

If you're a fan of flowers and enjoy sprucing up your home, you might have a bunch of vases in different shapes and sizes scattered around your place. These vases aren't just for holding flowers, though. They can also serve as decorative pieces that add style and comfort to any room.

Generally, vases can be split into two categories: table vases and floor vases. Table vases are perfect for framing flower arrangements, and they should ideally blend in with the surrounding decor while complementing the bouquet in terms of color and size. On the other hand, floor vases are typically at least 30 inches tall. If you put a small vase on the floor, it will get lost and won't do much to decorate the room. Smaller vases are better suited for higher surfaces like tables, windowsills, or bedside tables.

When it comes to choosing the right vase for your flowers, it's important to consider whether you're using a single stem or a bouquet. For a single flower, you'll want to use a narrow and elongated vase that can also hold dried branches, bamboo, or other decorations. If you're using a bouquet, opt for a voluminous vase that can hold the entire arrangement. A single flower in a wide vase will look a bit forlorn, so choose the right size for your blooms.

Lastly, many vases are so gorgeous and unique that they can stand alone as decor even without any flowers. Just choose a model that you love and place it in your space - it'll be a surefire hit. So, which vase will you choose? What's your favorite type of vase?
